Since spring, Thu has been working on a project near and dear to her heart – a benefit concert to fundraise for Children's Music Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to bringing Music Therapy into the lives of sick children to help overcome pain, fear, and anxiety. The organization also donates instruments to hospitalized children, and conducts academic research on the healing effects of music therapy on patients. Based in Los Angeles, Children’s Music Fund serves at a national and local level.

Thu Ho Jazztet — a great night of music by an incredible vocalist. Acts of kindness come in all forms — this evening is no exception. Thanks to EnterTalk Studios, Concerts.Cafe for arranging a beautiful night of jazz as a free concert for all to attend. We hope this inspires you to show your kindness by making a gift of any amount to help a child in need receive the healing benefits of music therapy.
Music unites us all, anywhere and everywhere no matter our situation. For the children that we help, music means giving them a chance to control their pain, fear and anxiety related to their health condition, treatments or hospitalization. Having a chronic condition or a life-threating illness isn’t easy for any of us, but imagine being child in the adult world of medicine. Help us bring back laughter, togetherness, mental health, and wellbeing to our children. Together, we can make a child smile.
