Friday, September 16th, 2023  |  San Francisco

โ€œAutumn in San Franciscoโ€ was a performance near and dear to my heart, with curated songs reflecting the moods of Autumn. The Golden Gate Park Music Concourse provided the elegant and romantic setting needed to perfect the evening along with truly amazing musicians - Arthur Khu, Aaron Germain, Isaac Schwartz, and Terrence Brewer! Let us all continue to spread Love, Understanding, Music, and Peace!

Thu Ho Quartet at the Commonwealth Club

Tuesday, May 16th, 2023  |  San Francisco

I felt so fortunate to sing for the mayor with some very cool cats - Arthur Khu, Noriyuki Ken Okada, and Sylvia Cuenca! We performed for a celebration of Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month at the Commonwealth Club of San Francisco, hosted by the APA Heritage Foundation, San Francisco Human Rights Commission, and the Michelle Meow Show. Mayor Willie Brown enjoyed the show!

His Honor walked right up to Thu

And gave a speech (the way mayors do).

โ€œMy friends,โ€ he said, โ€œisnโ€™t it grand -

This beautiful music from a little jazz band!โ€

Live at THE VI Palo Alto

FriDAY, July 16th, 2021 | Palo Alto

Thu was thrilled to transition from singing behind a video-camera to performing in front of a live audience again!! There was no pause button, no redoโ€™s, no audio/video editing, just in-the-moment musical collaboration and improvisation with two incredible musicians - her long-time musical collaborator, Aaron Germain, on bass and guitar, and Matt Wong, a young, virtuosic pianist and composer from New York City.

MONDAY, May 13th, 2019  |  SAN FRANCISCo

Performing at SFJAZZ Miner auditorium has been a highlight of Thuโ€™s career! She has had an incredible journey this season with Monday Night Band from singing her original song โ€œHorizon of Youโ€ to scatting Jacob Collierโ€™s melodica solo on โ€œIsnโ€™t She Lovelyโ€ to combining her vocal training in classical opera and jazz to pull off Matt Wongโ€™s ambitious arrangement of โ€œBlack Is The Color Of My True Loveโ€™s Hair.โ€ What a thrill it has been!

Here is some uplifting jazz, full of wonder and gratitude, for your pleasure. Pianist/composer/arranger Colin Hogan did an incredible job arranging Jacob Collier's version of Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely" for Monday Night Band! Check out Thuโ€™s sizzling solo!!

Sunday, March 17th, 2019  |  San Francisco

The artists broke through the fourth wall and engaged a captivated audience with their honesty and artistry. It was a memorable evening made more exquisite with delectable hors dโ€™oevres and fine wine!

โ€œIt's almost impossible to create something original for a number that's been popular for longer than 75 years but Thu Ho, Jazz Vocalist, succeeded in presenting a unique rendition of "Besame Mucho" that was a knockout with a drop-dead-solid, absolutely perfect for dancing, ChaCha coda. O m'gawd! We couldn't sit through it.โ€ โ€” Lew Serbin
