Thu Ho leads the Monarch Jazz Trio with her artistic direction and dynamic vocal styling. Having trained in Jazz, Broadway, Classical, and R&B music, Thu's voice is imbued with a unique blend of power, clarity, richness, depth, and warmth. Thu has worked with ensembles led by the great Victor Wooten and the Wooten Brothers, internationally acclaimed saxophonist & composer Joe Lovano, legendary drummer Akira Tana, the Diablo Jazz Company, Yancie Taylor, Rolling Stones journalist Ben-Fong Torres, master horn player Noel Jewkes, and San Francisco’s premiere modern jazz ensemble - Jazz Mafia.

Grant Levin showcases the piano as an infinitely dynamic instrument. His ingenuity and creativity are evident in his vast palette of colors and textures, refreshing voicings, and exciting solos. He has worked with numerous renowned bandleaders including Noel Jewkes, Dayna Stephens, Eric Wyatt, John Santos, Howard Wiley, and many other greats.

Ollie Dudek is a second-generation jazz bass player, having studied and played in New Orleans, New York, Cuba, and Brazil. Ollie plays in a variety of local bay area bands, leads several of his groups, and has worked in several theatrical musical productions and recording projects, including his album Flight of Life: Scenic Route Trio which features all original compositions. Ollie has performed at such venues as Yoshi's, Black Cat, Monterey Jazz Festival, The Fillmore Jazz Festival, Mr. Tipples, Knowhere Speak Easy, Devil's Acre, Local Edition, Jupiter, and at larger events like the Dream Force convention and the Edwardian Ball.
